The Jolie Pez Project: The Jolie Sees NC State Beat Carolina In Chapel Hill

This visit was completely unexpected, but apparently she wanted to see The Omawari-son and the North Carolina State Marching Band play at the big football game between NC State and the University of North Carolina.
The Jolie complained the whole ride about having to pay $5 for a ride to the stadium from a satellite lot in Chapel Hill. She was starting to get on everyone’s nerves until…
…she discovered that a buzzer went off and the bus would stop each time she pulled the yellow cord. She did it over and over. People were starting to get really upset.
Before going into the stadium we got some good eastern North Carolina barbecue. I offered to get her some but she insisted she wasn’t hungry. As soon as I sat down to eat, she suddenly had to have some. I kept trying to push off the weird hushpuppie-ish stick things on her, but she insisted on trying to get my slaw and ‘cue.
The Jolie was happy to be so close to the field. She also wondered why they padded one post, but not the other, of the play clock at the corner of the field (look for the man pulling up his pants…one post padded, one post not). Does one post not hurt like the other?
But then she realized that the construction scaffolding was going to block her view of the band she traveled across the country to see. She was very upset.
On an semi-related note, unless you are an action figure, if you go to a game at Kenan Stadium you should expect to have no leg room. I’m not a tall guy, but my knees were against the seat in front of me. The Jolie found it spacious.
Eventually we went around and stood behind where the band was and watched a very exciting win by North Carolina State over the University of North Carolina. The Jolie asked me to hold her up while the band played their school’s alma mater for the victorious team.
We got out of the stadium in time to watch The Worlds Most Dangerous Marching Band march out. The Jolie was so excited she forgot to turn around and watch them go by. She just kept smiling and dancing.
The Jolie rushed off after the game to head north to her next host, Hippie Cahier.

Poor Jolie…$5 and her feet weren’t even touching the floor (although on some buses I’ve been on, that would be a blessing!). Glad she had fun at the football game, and that Oma-son’s team won! Hope the Jolie has a great time with Hippie in Washington!

I was a little surprised she was that tight with her money.
Thank gawd someone finally fed The Jolie.
She was really a fan of the mustard based slaw.
I can’t help but wonder what the crowd was thinking about Jolie being filmed there. The band sounded pretty awesome though so maybe no one even noticed her.
Supposedly I got some looks doing the picture down at the field.
They really are a good band. I’m so happy for my guy.
Ta Ra Ra Boom De Ay– your band played, your team won and you got to do it all in the company of Jolie. What more could you want-beside perhaps a free ride and a little more leg room…BTW..I have no idea why you are traveling around the country with Jolie Pez action figure…but I find myself fascinated.
♥
Oh no. she is traveling by mail, she just stopped by my place in transit. She can come see you if you want.
Oh….of-co-course..now I get it!! Really? She would like to come to Chicago? Why not. Sure. Sounds like fun…. show her the sights and take a few pictures.
Jolie! I miss you, Jolie!
Can’t wait to see what Hippie does with her.
Loved the video, the best part of which is that nobody seems to notice there’s a grown man in the crowd holding an Angelina Jolie action figure in front of a camera. I’m guessing that kind of thing happens a lot in Charlotte, huh?
Good point, I’m glad no one really pointed that out, but at the same time I dont know how I’d go about explaining the Jolie project to a drunk football fan.
Which is also why I didn’t let the Jolie drag me into Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge or any of those other Nashville honky tonks!
Pack over UNC! That was a good game. You see the sign that the football player held up?
It read:
“Tom tutors Butch 4-0”
That was a great game. All that is between you and the ACC Championship game are my Maryland Terrapins.
“Tom’s players write their own papers too.”
I can’t believe she didn’t wear a red shirt. If nothing else it would have helped her blend in with the crowd. Then again, she didn’t get to where she is today by blending in. I’m glad she’s going to California next, she looks a bit pale.
Oh she just left california, that adventure is coming soon. The Jolie is very sun safety conscious.
brad is definitely the better dancer in the family.
The Jolie is kinda stiff.
Is there an emoticon for a raised eyebrow?

I’ve alerted the press. The Washington Post’s Celebritology column is at the ready.
She is on her way in a luxury mailer.
Ah, it looks as if even The Jolie, that cold hag, got a tear in her eye watching the band.
She was all verklempt.
Or that might have been me.
Why was that guy pulling up his pants? Was the Jolie and him doing something around that padded post?
Ahhh…good eye. She was coming back from the field while I was coming back down the stairs. She is shameless!
Woo-hoo for The Jolie visiting Hippie Cahier!
BBQ…I love BBQ!
Wait a minute, if you’re going to start climbing over my styrofoam plate box thing I’m just going to go get you some.
Just came from Hippie’s accountant of Jolie Pez’s visit and had to come over and see what this is all about. I discovered it’s all about brilliance.
Kind of thought that image #2 got people on the bus excited because she was pole dancing. I guess it’s a cord. Cord dancing?
And the thought of a grown man holding an Angelina Jolie doll up in the middle of a crowd at a college football game and snapping pictures warms my heart and puts a smile on my face.
Can I play? If Jolie Pez can survive a visit to my brood in Wyoming, she can survive anything.
Welcome, thanks for coming, your source speaks to your great taste.
of course you can play, I’ll put you on her list!
Yeah, Jolie photography at a football game requires a little application of ‘ aw, what the hell”
