The Jolie Pez Project: The Jolie visits Briarwood, NY and The New York Mets

The name of the blog is fitting because Q is significantly less likely to blog on any given day than say, me. Where I will write down whatever leaks out of my head, Q writes when she actually has something to say. I should learn something from that.
I am happy to see that The Jolie was less violent than when she was at my house or at her last visit. Still, her ego did seem to drive her behavior. Let’s look in on her visit with the Q.
Upon her arrival, The Jolie walked the pink carpet. You'd think she could have dressed up a little
Doing some Internet research.
Later, The Jolie took in a Mets game.
Perhaps inspired by her presence, the Mets win in the bottom of the ninth.
When Jolie met Spidey. Sure, The Jolie can beat people up, but can she also play a mean saxophone?
Upon learning that Shira is a Jennifer Aniston fan, The J. becomes offended and decides to head south...
That wraps up The Jolie’s Briarwood, NY adventure. How impressive is it that she got to go to a baseball game. That could not have been cheap, The Jolie probably insisted on box seats.
A few things I have to comment on –
- Don’t miss what The Jolie is googling – her ego is boundless!
- In the first picture at the Mets game, does it look to you like there may be some bladder control issues?
- Most of all, a sax playing Spiderman! Well done ma’am!
Like Q said, Jolie is in fact, on her way south, to Tennessee! Where will she go? Who will she meet? We will soon find out!

Hee hee. I hadn’t noticed the, um, puddle until after I’d sent you the pics.
It was kind of there, I couldn’t leave it alone.
No trip to Queens would be complete without a visit to Shea Stadium. Love the Spidey photo Queensgirl!!
She knows everyone, doesn’t she?
I’m reminded of those little pen pal projects that were done between countries. Where some home made doll would be sent to a school in another country, you would take it on all your field trips. Taking a bunch of pictures of everything you did with it before sending it back. But I was never in any class that participated in those.
And really this is likely a good thing. Its hard to say what condition some of those dolls might have been returned in had my friends and I gotten our hands on any of them. Which might be why those sorts of projects died out. (In the immortal words of my friend Jake “Somehow I don’t think pictures of little Annie’s mandatory and very necessary trip to the local burn ward would go over too well. Or the trip to the pork processing plant”)
Not that regular one on one pen pals was any more docile for my chosen correspondent.
Oh yeah, Jake and The Jolie can’t meet. I want to see her in all sorts of situations, but I need her to survive for her journey around the country and her eventual circumnavigation.
I had to scroll back up to see the puddle. Wait ’til the tabloids pick up on that!
Love the Spiderman /saxophone pic. Two of my favorite things.
It used to take Barbara Walters to get that sort of revelation out of the rich and famous. I think the new source of this kind of information is living in Queens
it looks like spiderman is impaling the jolie with the sax. and she doesn’t seem to be resisting.
I think that was after her solo.
This is just getting better and better. I can’t wait for the next one!
I didn’t notice the puddle originally, but C.S.I. would have a field day with that computer screen.
note: my computer screen always looks like that, no matter how much I clean it.
